Cell Phones Will Actually Pop Popcorn!

I know how silly this sounds, but I was listening to the radio today and the DJ made reference to a video he’d seen on YouTube.com. The video apparently showed how you could use cell phones to pop popcorn… Told you it sounded silly!
Here we are, hours later and I couldn’t get it off my mind, so I looked on YouTube and found this video of some kids from around the world who, apparently, want to demonstrate how they can pop popcorn using their cell phones… Take a look (I’ve added a few here):
Makes you wonder about the strength of the microwaves coming out of the cellphones, and whether they’re strong enough to do damage to you under “other circumstances.”
Really. This is not “just weird.” It is (or, at least, probably should be) a cause for some concern. I don’t use my cell phone that often — just to call my wife, at most once a day. But there are others out there (and you know who you are) who literally live with their cell phones attached to their heads…
Anyway, I put it out there for your own consideration. What do you think?
